PAULESI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
On November 17, 2022, as part of the graduation ceremony of the Pan-African University of Life and Earth Sciences, Including Health and Agriculture (PAULESI), the PAULESI Alumni Association was established.
The event was enhanced by the presence of Professor. Kenneth Matengu, PAU Board Chairman and Professor. Amany Abdallah El-Sharif Vice President of PAU Council, who addressed the students and congratulated them for their academic performance.
Leaders of the New Alumni Association were advised to connect and worked cordially with the parent structure of the institution, that is the Pan African University Alumni Association, especially with the newly elected and newly established office.
The New PAULESI Alumni Association Executive Board members are as follows:
- Izuchukwu Azuka OKAFOR (Male, Nigeria) – President
- IKOME Theckla Efeti (Female, Cameroon) – Vice President
- Nyakambi Martha Nyairabu (Female, Kenya) – Secretary
- NDO Pearl Ama (Female, Ghana) – Treasurer
- Stephen F. COOPER II (Male, Liberia) – Financial Secretary
- UDOFIA Emediong Ita (Male, Nigeria) – Communication Officer
During the inauguaration of the New Alumni Association and the Oath taking ceremony, three members of the Executive Board were present; the President, a former PhD Student from Nigeria, accompanied by two former Master level graduates of Ghana and Liberian nationality to take the Oath of office as follows:
“I (name) solemnly swear that I agree to serve the PAULESI Alumni Association with all sincerity and sense of duty.”
I affirm that I will truly serve according to the laws, rules, and constitutions made now or in the future.
I will serve in compliance with her code of conduct or affiliated organizations.
I pledge to act rightfully toward all kinds of people, without fear or favour, without affection or malice.
